Role Purpose
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for fostering and maintaining strong client relationships, driving retention, identifying growth opportunities, and forecasting future business needs. This role supports the continued growth of IMWT and ensures clients achieve meaningful outcomes.
Role Accountability
Client Relationship Leadership
Define, manage, and exceed client expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle
Lead high-level client meetings, QBRs, and planning sessions
Own escalations and drive resolution with delivery and leadership
Commercial Ownership
Own retention and renewal outcomes across a portfolio
Identify and secure expansion opportunities (new work streams / increased scope)
Monitor financial performance (recovery rate, scope changes, commercial risk)
Delivery Coordination
Coordinate with technical teams (SEO, PPC, Analytics & Data) to shape strategies and ensure delivery alignment
Supervise delivery across large accounts, ensuring key deliverables are met (SOWs, timelines, reporting)
Coaching & Team Development
Act as 2IC to Head of Client Services (where relevant), supporting strategic planning and decision-making
Coach and mentor junior Account Managers to raise capability and consistency

Requires Knowledge & Skills
4+ years professional client relationship management
Senior Account Management experience in a marketing agency (agency experience is required)
Strong knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, PPC)
Demonstrated experience leading client meetings, deep-dives, and WIPs
Ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously (5-10), over 3+ months
Strong problem-solving and risk reduction skills
Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management
