Absolutely, In Marketing We Trust operates as a fully remote digital marketing agency with roots in the APAC region. Although our headquarters are located in Sydney, Australia, our team members work remotely from various locations across the APAC region. This allows us to embrace talent from the entire APAC region in our recruitment efforts.

While we are a fully remote agency, some positions are location dependent. We, therefore, strongly discourage applying for the position if you are not residing within the targeted time zone. When we advertise a role, we take various factors, including time zone, into careful consideration. Applying from a different time zone is unlikely to be successful, as it may not align with the specific location requirements of the role.

Recently, we have seen a rise in fraudulent interview invitations being issued to candidates which appear to be from In Marketing We Trust. Individuals have been contacting our careers team to provide evidence of the correspondence received from suspicious and unbranded email accounts, to check whether or not they are authentic. The most common target market for these scams are individuals in the US (where we don’t typically recruit).
Offers or communications from In Marketing We Trust are only valid when sent from our recruitment system, TeamTailor, which will present as a no reply address (e.g. from “no-reply@message.teamtailor.com”) or from a company email with the domain @inmarketingwetrust.com.au.

While both remote work and digital nomadism involve working outside of a traditional office, remote work is generally more stable and work-focused, while digital nomadism is characterised by constant travel and a desire to prioritise adventure.

Currently (2024), we have 39 team members spread predominantly across the APAC region.
While our current hiring strategy remains focused on sourcing talent within APAC, our team members are based in Australia (80%), Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Italy, Portugal, Georgia, Hungary and Mexico. We are truly a global team, and have a bias for finding the sharpest digital minds! -

As a remotely distributed team, we need to make sure that we communicate and collaborate efficiently. To make sure that everyone is aligned and can work asynchronously, we have several tools that we rely on in our day-to-day work – you can find the list below.
Besides collaboration tools, our specialists work with various software in their 'Delivery' work by industry standards and requirements.
Notion
This is our knowledge base. We use Notion to document our internal processes, procedures, and how-to's (SOPs and templates).
LastPass
This is our password management tool; we use LastPass for storing, creating and sharing passwords.
Google Meet
We use Meet for company and internal video meetings.
Teamwork
This is our internal Project Management tool at the core of our service delivery.
We mainly use it to track our time, manage our internal and client projects, generate timesheets and manage deadlines and budgets.Slack
We use Slack as our main hub for communication. Slack is our central messaging platform for quick messages, updates and urgent communication.
Google
We're Google's partner, so we Google all the way!
Gmail, GDrive, GPhoto, GMP, Meet, etc.,
Donut
Donut is a software that regularly pairs team members to meet and better know each other to spread trust and collaboration across In Marketing We Trust.
We encourage our team members to meet and get to know one another through the tool. Using Donut Pairings is a great (and simple) way to build trust and improve company culture.
Salesforce
Not everyone will be on this tool, but we use Salesforce to manage our sales process.

All of our clients are currently based in the APAC region, roughly 80% of them within Australia. In order to best service them, we need to make sure that communication (both internally and with the clients) is timely and on point.
Internally, open communication comes in two forms; being available to discuss things when needed and working out loud so others know where we are focusing our attention.
It is expected that all staff work the hours of 11:00 – 17:00 AEDT / AEST (Sydney time), facilitating a minimum all-company hours overlap of 6 hours per day. The remaining 2 working hours may be scheduled according to the requirements of the role and personal preferences.

At In Marketing We Trust we work with both Employees and Independent Contractors.
According to the Australian (labour) law, employees need to have residency and/or tax residency in Australia. Anyone residing outside of Australia and joining IMWT will be an ‘Independent Contractor’ and the contract will be drafted as such.
As an Independent Contractor, you will be in charge of your own tax management, including health, retirement or any other insurances.

Payment is processed once a month by our finance department.
Independent contractors send their invoice on the first day of the month with payment processed in 2-5 business days (Friday is payday).
Employees are paid on the 15th of each month.
You only need a valid bank account – payment can be made in AUD, USD, EUR.
